At the weekend the United Kingdom selected Scooch and their song song ‘Flying The Flag (For You)’ as the UK’s entry for this year’s Eurovision Song Contest.

In my opinion, it’s corny, camp, and perhaps cr*p, but yet it’s incredibly catchy!

I guess for a competition like this you need to have a song that grips voters instantly, and I suspect this will. Usually any decent songs at Eurovision gets over looked, so perhaps, just perhaps, the UK might not crash and burn this year.

Travis are back with their wonderful new song ‘Closer’, which is from new album ‘The Boy With No Name’.

I’m a big fan of the Scottish band since their second album ‘The Man Who’. I’m positive this will be yet another hit for Fran Healy and the lads.

The song will be available in the UK from the 23rd of April.
